Description

In this guide you will find 53 ring tours through the Paganella area, the mountains around Trento and the Valsugana-Lagorai, an area that is still relatively unknown to cyclists and has so far been visited mainly by locals.

It also presents individual areas where mountain biking has developed to a particularly great extent.

A holistic MTB guide with routes for all tastes, where the main focus is on the alpine environment and its exploration. A still intact, fantastic environment where you can let yourself be carried away by its vastness and beauty and where the sport-oriented aspect is just one of many.

Alessio Conz lives in Pergine Valsugana, just a few kilometers from Trento, near the lakes of Levico and Caldonazzo. He began his sport-oriented activities in the 80s and repeated numerous routes in the Dolomites, the Sarca Valley and other areas. At the same time, he developed a passion for ski mountaineering, which led him from the peaks of the Dolomites to those of the 4000-metre peaks. An activity that he never gave up and that would latermore lead him to become a mountain guide and author of alpine and hiking guides. In recent years, he has concentrated his activities on the Lagorai group, very close to his home, where he has set up climbing gardens and multi-pitch routes. He has been working as a mountain guide since 2009. He has published the following books: Sci Alpinismo in Lagorai Cima d'Asta (Edizioni Versante Sud, 2010), Lagorai Cima d'Asta - Klettereien im "Dolomiten-Granit" (Edizioni Versante Sud, 2010), Trento Falesie (Casa Editrice Effe Erre, 2016). In addition to this guide "Trento and Valsugana Mountain Bike", a hiking guide with selected routes in Valsugana and Lagorai (only in Dutch) is now also being published.
