Description

In Black Forest Rock 3.0, we introduce you to all the climbing areas of the Black Forest.

This edition has grown significantly since the last one. Over many months, we have visited all the crags in the Black Forest and looked after many forgotten routes and crags in the Black Forest. In the Central Black Forest in particular, we have once again renovated many routes and crags.

Of course, the popular Hornberger Platte with all its new sectors is not to be missed in this issue. High above Hornberg, we have renovated the Feierabendfelsen. A varied and enjoyable climbing area with slightly longer access. We have recently sunk our cams into the body and shoulder cracks on Geisshaldenfels. Furthermore, the small Bellenstein climbing garden near Oberkirch has been added. In this issue, we finally present many forgotten routes in Battert. In the far north near Pforzheim, the amphitheater has become more extensive.

This issue finally includes the completely revised Schlüchtal with all the crags. In the meantime, the Kandel above Waldkirch and the Freiburg local area of Gfäll have been perfectly restored. But small areas such as the crag at the Adlerschanze in Hinterzarten have also been visited and the routes have been optimized and the moss removed from the existing routes.

Almost all walls have been newly photographed and revised. In some cases there are new parking options and access points. The tried and tested GPS QR codes can finally also be found in this edition. This makes orientation on the crag and access very easy. Also new is important information for motorhomes and campers for overnight stays.

Every climber visiting the Black Forest should pack the Black Forest Rock 3.0 in their rucksack.
