Description

- The thundering Krimml Waterfalls are the impressive start to the Tauern Cycle Path. The route is around 300 km long and leads from the waterfalls along the Salzach and Inn rivers to Passau.

- Along this eventful route, you not only cycle through the city of Mozart, but can also enjoy the Ice Giant World in Werfen or the Celtic Museum in Hallein. From Salzburg, you mostly cycle along the Salzach and Inn rivers to Passau and come across picturesque towns such as Laufen and Tittmoning, which were built in the typical Inn-Salzach style.

- The majority of the route is asphalted. If you start in Krimml, it is around 750 meters downhill to Passau, with only a few climbs in between.</p
