Description

The fifty routes in this book cover a wide range from short walks to half-day and day hikes to challenging two-day mountain hikes. The altitude meters to be covered in the ascent are between 200 and 1,500, the walking times given are indicative and range between 30 minutes and 8 hours. When compiling the routes, glaciers and via ferratas were not included. However, in keeping with the high alpine character of some of the routes, there may well be short snowfields and rope-secured passages where you will also need your hands to get around.

The extensive network of paths in Ötztal is regularly maintained and is therefore in the best possible condition. Nevertheless, you should not forget that this is a high alpine area. Steep or rocky sections are common, and there are also exposed passages to negotiate. Weather events at these altitudes sometimes have a major impact on the accessibility of the trails; after heavy thunderstorms, individual sections can be difficult or even impassable.
<ui>
Compact and handy format (10.5 x 16 cm)

Protected spiral binding

Image description completely waterproof coated inside pages

Clear, easy-to-read maps

Optimal hiking scale 1:35.000 with UTM network

detailed depiction of the trail categories

waypoints link map and text

accurate route descriptions

precise information on places and sights

numerous town center and village maps

and and town maps

elevation profiles for each stage

comprehensive accommodation directory

thoroughly researched and constantly updated
</ui>
Esterbauer Verlag | 232 pages | 10,5 x 16 cm | spiral binding
