Description

The Isar-Loisach-Leutascher Ache-Inn Way of St. James connects the Munich and South-East Bavarian Way of St. James with the Tyrolean Way of St. James. It begins at Schäftlarn Monastery and leads along the Isar and Loisach rivers to Beuerberg Monastery, then to Benediktbeuern Monastery and past Kochelsee and Walchensee lakes into the Isar Valley. After 141 km, the trail ends in Mötz in the Inn Valley. The outdoor handbook provides detailed route descriptions for each of the 12 stages and detailed information about accommodation, places to stop for refreshments and places of interest along the route. Precise maps, elevation profiles and a fold-out overview map provide reliable orientation.
