<p>The Plume Avalanche Shovel from Arva is exactly the shovel you should have with you if you are concerned about lightweight without having to sacrifice high efficiency.</p><p>The Plume consists of a 24cm long, 24cm wide and 1.5mm thick shovel blade made of hard anodized aluminium and a 47cm long handle made of carbon fibre. The combination saves you some weight, yet the shovel is stable and easy to handle in an emergency.</p>
