Depending on the area or crags that are being climbed, other equipment on the packing list may need to be added. In most sport climbing areas, there are plenty of diversions and most times fixed slings are to be found (Warning: look first then add load). It’s always a good idea to be informed and prepared for the particular area intended on climbing, with the help of a climbing guide. Handy information may be given in the guide for any additional climbing equipment required for that region. Safety first and then, of course, it goes without saying, respect for other climbers, local residents and of course nature should be shown at all time. Our climbing packing list is an example for say a multi-day trip near your climbing destination. Further information relevant to that region is best found in a climbing guide.
