At Bergzeit we believe that it is crucial to protect our employees and customers now more than ever. That’ s why we have taken extensive measures to ensure this:
- We have temporarily closed our two branches in Großhartpenning and Gmund and cancelled all events scheduled there until further notice as well as cancelling all Bergzeit “Erlebnis” trips and tours up to and including April 30, 2020.
- Likewise, at our headquarters in Otterfing, we have implemented safety precautions to contain the spread of the coronavirus as far as possible: Our administrative staff have been working home office for the past week. All internal meetings, as well as meetings with external partners, take place on a virtual basis.
- To ensure that our logistics continue to function and that we can offer our customers reliable delivery despite the trying external circumstances, we have organised our logistics in such a way that our colleagues and employees are protected as best as possible against infection and work in multi-shift operation in small groups.
- Our returns policy has also been extended to 100 days to avoid the need for quick returns.
We are taking these measures because we not only have a responsibility to our employees as a company but to each individual mountain enthusiast, neighbour, family member or friend. Only by joining together can we succeed in stopping the spread of the virus. Therefore we ask you for support.
